The Right BBS Parts for Every Application

At Ehrlich Wheel Works, we stock genuine BBS parts and OEM-spec hardware to support builds and maintenance across BBS's full lineup. Our inventory includes mounting bolts and fasteners for multi-piece wheel assembly, center caps, 3D floating logo caps, hub-centric PFS (Precision Fitment System) rings, and valve stems in multiple configurations.

BBS has spent decades building some of the most respected wheels in motorsport and street performance, and the same precision that goes into each wheel carries through to every component designed to keep them running. Whether you're reassembling a multi-piece set, replacing a damaged center cap, or sourcing the right hub-centric hardware for a new fitment, the BBS wheel parts you use matter. Generic substitutions or incorrect components introduce variables that genuinely affect safety and performance, and with BBS, that's never a compromise worth making.

BBS maintains thousands of distinct part numbers in its catalog, and fitment is rarely as simple as matching a size. Subtle differences in seat geometry, thread pitch, cap attachment style, and bore diameter separate a part that installs correctly from one that creates a problem you may not notice until it matters most.

We're an authorized BBS retailer with over 15 years of hands-on experience with the brand, which means we can identify the right BBS wheel accessories and hardware based on your wheel model. If you have the wheel's part number handy, we can cross-reference it directly. If not, we can help you find it.

Why BBS Wheel Hardware Isn't Interchangeable

BBS wheel hardware is safety-critical by design. The bolts and fasteners used in the multi-piece BBS wheel assembly are engineered to precise torque and stretch specifications. BBS's official guidance is clear: once hardware has been torqued and put into service, it should be replaced rather than reused. This is not overcaution. These fasteners are manufactured within tight tolerances, and the clamping load applied during assembly causes controlled, intentional stretch in the material. Reusing hardware that has already cycled through that process introduces unpredictability in a component where unpredictability is unacceptable.

If you're rebuilding a set of BBS wheels, freshening hardware after a track day, or putting together a custom configuration, budget for new BBS hardware. It's one of the lower-cost line items in a wheel build, but also one of the highest-stakes.

Frequently Asked Questions About BBS Wheel Parts

Can I reuse BBS hardware after disassembling a multi-piece wheel?

BBS does not recommend reusing fasteners once they've been torqued and put into service. Their fasteners are manufactured to very precise stretch tolerances, and the clamping load applied during assembly is a controlled, intentional process. Cycling that same bolt through a second assembly introduces unpredictable variables in a safety-critical component. If you're rebuilding or refurbishing a set of BBS multi-piece wheels, plan on sourcing fresh hardware.

Do BBS wheels require vehicle-specific lug bolts or lug nuts?

Yes, and the details matter. BBS wheels have either a conical (tapered) or ball seat, depending on the application and wheel model, and using the wrong seat geometry prevents the wheel from seating correctly against the hub. Bolt shank length is also critical. In some applications, using a bolt with a head that extends too far will interfere with the center cap fitment. For vehicles like certain Volkswagen and Mercedes-Benz platforms, this is a common point of confusion because the required seat type and shank length differ from OEM specs. If you're fitting BBS wheels to your car for the first time, confirm seat type and length before purchasing hardware.

What is a BBS PFS ring, and do I need one for my build?

BBS PFS (Precision Fitment System) rings are fully machined aluminum rings that center a BBS wheel precisely to the vehicle's hub. BBS wheels are manufactured with a larger center bore than many factory hubs, which means, without a PFS ring, the wheel is lug-centric rather than hub-centric. A hub-centric fit eliminates the harmonic vibration that often occurs at highway speeds with improperly centered wheels and reduces stress on the lug hardware over time. PFS rings are secured with a locking clip and carry TUV approval, meaning they've been independently certified for road use. If your vehicle's hub diameter doesn't match the wheel's center bore exactly, you need them.
