These are brand new, custom-built 19" BBS LM wheels featuring a stunning diamond black finish, high polished lips, and gold accents. All wheels have been converted to a 3-piece configuration with new lips and barrels, ensuring perfect fitment!
This is the best fitting set of custom LMs that I could build for my E46 M3. For the front of the car, I purchased brand new LM435 and discarded the original 11" barrels in favor of a 3-piece conversion. They clear my Porsche 996 calipers with less than a mm to spare. I have my caliper overhang measured right around 36mm. BBS lists the LM435 with 36.2mm of caliper clearance. That's why these faces were chosen. I test fit LM227s, LM272s, LM281s, LM434s, and then finally the LM435s. LM435 faces with 3" lips and 7" inners yield the perfect spec of 19x10" +20.
The rears were a taller task. I bought the last 2 remaining (new old stock) LM259s that BBS had. These were also converted to 3 piece. These have the smallest pads available in a 19" 5x120 LM. Even smaller than the LM228 which is what was on the car before. With a little modification, the faces hug the calipers with around 6mm of clearance. This allows me to run a massive 4.25" outer lip while still maintaining a modest offset of +21.
The factory diamond black finish is retained. New gold bolts and new red/gold logos were added. Hidden valves (black BBS) are utilized to clean the lips up. Polished lips and faces have been ceramic coated.
Fitment:
These wheels will fit several BMW models, including but not limited to the E46 M3 and E90 M3. Please confirm the fitment before purchasing, as there are no returns.
